ABOUT THE ORGANISERS:
At MedAr, we fundamentally believe that the Alternate Dispute Redressal mechanism is the future of tomorrow for the resolution of a dispute. Invariably, all agreements, business transactions, and deals are being developed and drafted in a manner that in the unforeseen eventuality of disputes arising out of contractual liabilities between companies’ interest or between Companies and Individuals are resolved through Arbitration, Conciliation or Mediation.
ABOUT THE COMPETITION
The 1st National Mediation Competition, 2023 is going to be held virtually. This Competition is being organised by MEDAR and Powered by ANZ LAWZ LLP. ANZ LAWZ recognises the importance of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in today’s fast-paced legal landscape. As part of our commitment to educating and training the next generation of legal professionals, we are pleased to announce this opportunity for law students to enhance their mediating skills through this competition.
WHO IS IT FOR?
The competition is open to every student pursuing a five-year or three-year course in law from various Colleges/Universities recognized by the Bar Council of India. For eligibility, it is hereby clarified that all the participants in one team shall belong to one institution only. No cross-institutional composition of teams is allowed. The provisional registration is to be done by the respective institutions officially. Each institution can reserve a maximum of six slots in the provisional registration.
TEAM COMPOSITION:
Every participating team shall comprise of three students (one student as Client, one student as Counsel, and one student as the Mediator).
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

FEE DETAILS
The registration fee for the competition is Rs. 10000. This fee is non-refundable and has to be paid by all teams. The participants can send the money through:
a. BHIM-UPI supported apps, like Google Pay or Phone Pay
b. NEFT or any other possible way on the account.
